Resources for Survivors

Want to learn more about red flags in relationships, how to identify abuse, or how to seek healing after experiencing domestic or sexual violence?

We're here for you.

Power & Control Wheel

It's important to remember that not all abuse is physical. Perpetrators often use emotional, verbal, psychological, financial, and sexual abuse to exert power and control over their partner - no matter what form of abuse you've experienced, you are valid.

At Shelterhouse, we often use this Power & Control wheel to help survivors identify what form(s) of abuse they may be experiencing in their specific relationship.
