April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and Shelterhouse is proud to be partnering with Edge Fitness in Sanford to host a self-defense class open to the public!

While there is never an excuse, justification, or invitation for violence, the more tools in your toolkit for defending yourself, the better.

Shelterhouse was thrilled to bring our annual fundraiser, Chefs for Shelterhouse, back to the Midland community last year, and we're already planning ahead for 2025!

This is a casual strolling fundraiser where you have the opportunity to try samplings from over a dozen local chefs and restaurants, bid on silent auction items, AND raise funds for survivors at the same time!

Shelterhouse is excited to bring a Survivor Art Exhibition to the Tri-Cities in collaboration with numerous other agencies including Underground Railroad, Inc., Bay Area Women's Center, the Sexual Assault Center of Child and Family Services of Saginaw, Studio 23/The Arts Center, and McDowell Healing Arts Center.

This exhibit will be featured at Studio 23 in Bay City through May 17th, and is open for viewing to the public.
