Legal Advocacy
Navigating the legal system as a survivor can be tough, but you don't have to go through this alone
At Shelterhouse, we understand that taking legal action may or may not be part of your unique healing journey. We will support your decisions and provide necessary resources whether or not you want to report your experiences. All the choices are yours.
While we cannot offer legal representation to clients, our experienced Court Advocates can help you navigate the legal system, provide guidance on filling out necessary paperwork, and answer questions about court proceedings or victim compensation.
